The name 'Ayurveda' refers to a 5000 year-old traditional Indian healing practice, which is still in use, particularly in India, Nepal and Sri Lanka today. It is based on the knowledgeable use of medicinal plants, some of which are also commonly used to improve people’s well-being as a result of the famous ‘Ayurvedic diet’. In Europe the interest in Ayurveda is increasing noticeably and people are keen to learn more about the medicinal herbs at its core.
