Visually, one of the most beautiful carrot varieties. The name ‘Rouge Sang’ means something like ‘blood-red’ and beautifully describes the interesting, two-coloured, old, French carrot variety. On their heads, the carrots have a blood-red, intense colouring with a smooth colour gradient towards the tip of the root. It shines in bright-orange like the inner pulp, as well. The carrot variety has a pleasantly sweet flavour and is perfectly suitable for fresh consumption and as a vegetable.
