A great perennial for the whole summer that can also be used well as a cut flower. The botanically correct name is "Lomelosia caucasica" by now, which, nevertheless, hasn't found entrance so far. It's a traditional garden plant as has already been cultivated since the 18th century. Among all Scabiosa, Scabiosa caucasica has the largest blossoms and, moreover, blooms relatively long.
