Chervil is a wonderful culinary herb for salad dressings, now available as organic seed. With its hints of pepper and aniseed, chervil belongs to the classic kitchen herbs, often used in salads, vegetable dishes, fresh dips, herb butter, and fish dishes. Often compared to parsley but finer, it also is an essential ingredient for traditional recipes such as ‘Frankfurter Grüne Soße’ / ‘the traditional German Green Sauce from Frankfurt’ and the famous French herb mix ‘Fines herbes’. Chervil is easy to grow and can be re-sown over again several times during the summertime. The leaves are best picked shortly before its blooming period. Furthermore, chervil is one of the herbs avoided by slugs and is therefore often planted next to plants that suffer from their infestation. Seeds, content: Approx. 250 organic Chervil seeds
