The chili, also known as “Ají Colorado”, is mid-sized and dark red at full ripeness. It perfectly suits the cultivation in the Central European climate as the seeds also germinate at lower temperatures than most other chili varieties. Furthermore, it ripens fast and can also deal with several days of bad weather. It belongs to the New Mex Red type and convinces with high yields of medium hot, very aromatic chilis which can be utilised versatile. Well-suitable for the production of chili powder.
