When we were children my mother often cooked us what she called “Rabbits’ Favourite Soup” – a thick, hearty vegetable soup with cabbage and potatoes that we adored: we loved to imagine ourselves being little bunnies like our favourite Beatrix Potter characters’ from our storybooks. This seed selection, inspired by those childhood memories, contains five vegetable varieties for growing in your garden that people as well as bunnies will definitely enjoy.
The kit contains organic seeds of the following varieties:

Leaf Chicory ‘Zuckerhut’ (Organic) (Cichorium intybus var. Foliosum) A fantastic winter salad with a slightly bitter flavour.
Colourful Carrot Mix (Organic) (Daucus carota) A mixture is ideal for growing a range of varieties in a single space. Their different maturing times will ensure a long harvesting period.
Florence Fennel 'Romanesco' (Organic) (Foeniculum vulgare var. Azoricum) A traditional Italian bulb fennel variety.
Stalk Celery 'Green Utah' (Organic) (Apium graveolens) A celery variety with stems that are both thick and tender.
Romaine Lettuce 'Rehzunge' (Organic) (Lactuca sativa) Traditional lettuce variety with pointed, aromatic leaves. Can be used as a leaf lettuce.

The seed kit includes one seed packet of each variety containing a standard quantity of open-pollinated seeds for garden use.
