Morning Glory 'Heavenly Blue' (Ipomoea tricolor)
Countless, large, luminous, sky-blue, funnel-shaped flowers are the hallmark of the magnificent morning glory that comes from Mexico. A non-hardy climbing plant that needs a climbing aid.
Garden nasturtium, Monk's cress (Tropaeolum majus)
The garden nasturtium grows as an annual plant with garland-like, trailing stems and lots of extraordinarily large, vibrant orange-yellow flowers, in our climate. Their sharp flavour is surprisingly pronounced and not unlike cress.
Hyacinth bean (Lablab purpureus)
This African bean variety is a beautiful climber, with very decorative purple flowers and pods, which are prepared similar to our common garden beans
