This basil with "medium-sized" leaves combines good flavour with strong vegetative growth. An allround variety for spicing the typical dishes of the Italian kitchen like tomato salad 'Caprese', antipasti, and pasta sauces.

The oils in basil have an antibiotic and antifungal effect. The strong, deep-green colour hints at a high chlorophyll content.
