Original Italian variety with smooth, highly aromatic leaves. The aroma of the smooth flat-leaf parsley varieties (var. neapolitanum) is much finer and milder than the curly varieties. Many cooks prefer this kind of parsley. German cuisine almost couldn't be imagined without parsley as it belongs to the most used kitchen herbs. Therefore, it should be in every herb garden. Fortunately, parsley can be cultivated well in pots so that you can fall back on the balcony, terrace, or windowsill.
