The Musk Rose is a wild rose that only blooms late in the year from August until frost. Most unfilled, white blossoms stand in clusters and exude a subtle clove scent. This rose, therefore, is a very good late nectar plant for bees and other beneficial insects in the garden. Gradually, the musk rose grows to a loose shrub of up to 3m in height. The sprouts stand loosely upright to slightly overhanging.

Rose seeds often need two years to germinate. To accelerate to process, carefully scratch the seeds first and conduct an artificial cold stratification: Therefore, mix the seeds with moist sand in a plastic bag. Keep the bag warm and moist in the first 2-4 weeks (approx. +27-32°C), put it in the fridge at a temperature of +3°C for 4 months, afterwards, and observe regularly if the seeds germinate.
