This robust Netted Cucumber originates from Central Asia. It's very aromatic and well-suited for the Central European climate. The fruits have a net-like surface, similar to the netted melon. It's generally harvested in a young, green state. If you harvest it later, the skin has the typical, chapped net structure and is also better storable then. For consumption, the thick skin and the core are removed.
