Orange Scented Thyme (Thymus vulgaris ssp. fragrantissimus) exudes a wonderfully fruity and at the same time resin-like, warm citrus flavour. The fresh leaves are often used for the seasoning of poultry but suit the most diverse dishes, also desserts and sweet dishes. Dried, the herb is still very aromatic and can be used well in the kitchen. In summer, the shrub blooms pink and white. It's well suitable for planting it into the stone garden.
