This selection comprises traditional, ancient medicinal plants, known to combine a range of beneficial properties. Some we know as kitchen herbs and tea herbs – and also, of course, as plants that can be used for incense-burning.
Most of these varieties develop luxuriant growth and will therefore be happiest in a garden – but it is possible to grow them in large pots, too.

Mugwort (Organic) (Artemisia vulgaris)
Possibly one of Europe’s most important incense herbs but also a traditional flavouring in beer brewing and for meat dishes.
Garden Angelica (Organic) (Angelica archangelica)
Impressive, vigorous, aromatic wild shrub from Scandinavia. An old medicinal plant, its fleshy roots supporting the nervous system, relieving cramps and aiding digestion.
Milfoil Yarrow (Organic) (Achillea millefolium)
An important medicinal herb known since ancient times for its expectorant, digestive, wound-healing, cramp-relieving and antibacterial effects.
St. John’s Wort (Organic) (Hypericum perforatum)
Known for its healing effects since antiquity. Widely used herbal treatment to relieve depressive moods and anxiety.
Clary Sage (Organic) (Salvia sclarea)
A magnificently beautiful sage with a powerful, resinous fragrance that has a gently euphoric effect – on people and on cats.
Elecampane (Organic) (Inula helenium)
A herb that brings light and sunshine into the heart when burned as incense.
