It is hard to grasp that a huge tree can grow from a small seed, and it almost seems like a miracle. For children this is even harder to imagine, and they are always curious to try out raising plants from seeds themselves. In order not to put their patience to the test for too long, we have decided to choose four easy to grow, uncomplicated and fast growing plant varieties which look beautiful and who are - at least in parts - edible and therefore can also be harvested. All of them can first be sown indoors in pots, but they feel most comfortable outside and will thrive best with direct sowing in spring.
