The pepper variety ‘Marconi Rosso’ is a traditional Italian variety with tapering, bright red fruits. These are approx. 15-20 cm long, thin-skinned and with little chambers. It’s best to already harvest them in the transition stage to ripeness. Then, you get crispy and aromatic pods with an extraordinary flavour. This old, Italian variety is very fertile. In the kitchen, the pepper pods are especially suitable for roasting, grilling and pickling. Therefore, it’s a good variety for antipasti.
