The Round Courgette is a round, climbing pumpkin that rather looks like a round zucchini and is also called Tondo di Nizza. It's known from the fine Italian and French kitchen. The fruits are harvested while they're still young and prepared like normal zucchinis but have to be peeled first as the skin isn't edible. Very tender pulp. A popular preparation method is the boiling of the whole pumpkin, whereby the pumpkin has to be pricked first so that it doesn't burst. Afterward, it can be cut in half and spooned out.
