This Italian striped eggplant variety 'Rotonda bianca sfumata di rosa' produces beautiful, rather round, purple-white-striped aubergines. It is very vigorous and productive, but should be cultivated under some protection, preferably a greenhouse or foil tunnel.

It is also well suited as a pot plant, which makes it ideal for growing on the sunny, warm and sheltered balcony.
