The Tatarican Colewort is a wild kale variety that occurs from Southern Siberia up to the edge of the Austrian Alps. The young sprouts are eaten like the ones of the Sea Kale (Crambe Maritima). Crambe Tataria, however, is easier to grow and, apart from the leaves, the roots can also be used. They grow as thick as an arm and are consumed like radish.
