This seed set contains 6 classic Mexican chilli varieties that are indispensable in Mexican cuisine:

Tamale Chili 'Guajillo' (Capsicum annuum)
Medium hot chilli from Mexico. The fully ripe fruits are reddish brown and have a warm, full aroma which is reminiscent of liquorice.
Sauce chili 'Cascabel' (Capsicum annuum)
Small, red, rather mild Mexican chilli variety that provides the right spicy aroma for Mexican bean dishes.
Chili 'Habanero' (Capsicum chinense)
The extremely spicy Habanero with its wonderfully fruity exotic aroma can live for many years.
'Poblano Mulato' Chili (Capsicum anuum)
Mild variety from Mexico with only very slight spiciness and full-bodied sweetness. Aromatic large broad fruits, which when dried take on a chocolate brown colour.
Jalapeño pepper (Capsicum annuum)
Jalapeno chillies are the crowd pleasers in the chilli pepper family. The ripened crops develop an intensely full-bodied flavour and heat.
Chile Serrano (Capsicum annuum)
Serrano Chilis are mostly harvested green. Their pure and distinct spiciness goes well with Thai dishes.

One seed bag per chili variety with approx. 10 seeds.

Chillies need very warm temperatures of +24-28°C to germinate. We therefore recommend the use of a miniature greenhouse with a heating function.
