The white lupin is a beautifully blooming member of the papilionaceae family that produces very protein-rich seeds. Furthermore, it binds atmospheric nitrogen and, thus, fertilizes the soil. From the seeds, lupin flour can be produced. As it's gluten-free, it's an alternative for people with coeliac disease. Apart from that, it's interesting for the low carb diet.
