This wild cabbage is probably the original form of many of today's cultivars and cabbage varieties. It grows on rocks and coastal cliffs of the Atlantic. In its natural home on stony, low-nutrient soil, wild cabbage grows very slowly, but in good garden soil it rapidly develops into a stately shrub. Wild cabbage is hardy and can be cultivated as a winter vegetable in the garden and tastes very aromatic.

2016. 22 von 24 haben gekeimt. Schön im Haus gewachsen, rausgepflanzt und dann kam eine Kohlschabeninvasion (war zuletzt vor 20 Jahren) und fraßen alles auf.
