In this group of herbaceous wild plants, there are many delicious kitchen herbs for seasoning dishes, for green smoothies, or healthy wild herb salads, as well as plenty of medicinal plants. You can find them with luck almost anywhere or bring the best varieties into your garden.

This seed kit contains 7 wild medicinal and kitchen herb varieties:

Ramsons, Bear Garlic (Allium ursinum)
Wild garlic’s natural habitat is semi-shaded forests but it also grows well in domestic gardens. Its leaves and tubers are said to have health promoting properties and it has a lovely garlicky flavour.
Jack-by-the-hedge (Alliaria petiolata)
In the Middle Ages very popular spice and medicinal plant. The fresh leaves have a cress-like aroma and the unpeeled roots are very similar to horseradish.
Salad burnet (Sanguisorba minor)
The cucumber-like taste of leaves and flowers is an important component of the Frankfurt Green Sauce. Also for seasoning salads, marinades as well as fish and poultry dishes.
Wild celery (Apium graveolens)
Very spicy celery, which can be used similar to parsley.
Sweet woodruff (Galium odoratum)
The unique woodruff aroma spices the Maibowle and the Berliner Weisse and is a clear sign for the beginning of spring
Broad-leaved thyme (Thymus pulegioides)
Ancient medicinal plant of antiquity and the Middle Ages. Proven in all respiratory diseases.
Common cowslip (Primula veris)
One of the earliest flowering meadow flowers in the year. Its flowers and leaves are edible. The real primrose is also an old medicinal plant.
