The yellow carrot 'Jaune du Doubs' (Daucus Carota) originates from France from the region Doubs, which is where it got its name. As a yellow carrot, it is typically less sweet than the orange varieties. It is therefore very well suited for carrot stews and also has excellent storability. The 'Jaune du Doubs' forms long tapered roots and tends to get green heads. It has a rather long culture time and therefore should be sown in time.
